Seguro Y Sano, Safe & Sound Charity was founded by a group of ladies who's aim is to educate and empower communities to help end domestic violence.

During the first quarter of 2019, 1200 women lost their lives to domestic violence in Mexico. The charity's mission is to promote healthy lifestyles free of violence, and to create certainty for women and children to live a safe and healthy life. This charity was registered in September 2019 and they are well on their way with local fund-raisers, workshop bookings, and university student campaigns pledging to commit to choosing healthy behaviours that contribute to respectful relationships.

Seguro Y Sano, Safe and Sound expect to influence the chain of domestic violence by increasing awareness among community members, maintain prevention through education, and empowering victims by establishing resources. If anyone has ever experienced domestic violence themselves, or has cared about someone who has, knows how complex and serious the situation can be. Most parts of Mexico are a great deal behind developed countries concerning tolerance, education and resources. This charity intends to change that!
