How many people can I invite to a party?

As many as you want....well maybe not a hundred but should be a minimum of 10.
 

What age groups can attend a People Power Party?

The crafts we have chosen to provide can be adapted for different ages and skill level. Age 10 and up is most suitable.
 

How do people pay to attend a party?

After you request your date for a party we send you some handy, dandy communication for your invitations which includes the price per crafter. You collect from your RSVPs (email, cash etc.) then contact us to “seal the deal” with payment. We will invoice you based on your numbers and you can pay using our paypal or email us for deposit to our social enterprise business account.
 

Which charity will my party raise money for?

The day of the party we start with a short video that introduces your guests to the people and causes they can raise money for. Although very impactful we don't want to spend too much time watching a video, so prior to the party we would like the host to decide on your group's focus; Mexican charities that support children and seniors or our Canadian charities protecting our environment.
 

How much money will we raise for charity?

$6 from each craft made goes to the crafter's charity of choice. Staff, and team parties have an option to raise additional money.
 

How do we know how the money raised is being spent?

People Power Parties offer periodic reports, pics, and vids from “boots on the ground” in Mexico and from our local charities. We know accountability is so important and also how satisfying it is to really know how your efforts are making a difference.
 

How long is a People Power Party?

Parties for all ages are 2 hours. Staff or team parties can be up to 3 hours.
 

What happens if I need to cancel the party?

After you request a party date we hold it for 14 days while you confirm your number of guests. If you need to change something during this time just let us know. After the party has been confirmed with full payment and something really important happens, we understand, life can throw us a curve ball now and then. Contact us to re-schedule.
 

I would like to host a party at a location other than my house or place of business. Is there an option to host a party elsewhere?

People Power Parties can refer you to a local vendor that can provide a space, depending on your numbers and dates.
 

As a host, do I need to provide crafting tools?

We bring all the tools, materials and instruction. Having enough space for crafters to craft does need to be considered depending on your numbers. Each person will need to sit at a table, or on a floor space and have some elbow room. We do hope to utilize your TV or desktop for the video. We have back up.
 

What payment methods do you support?

Currently we accept eTransfer or mailed check. In the near future we will accept credit and debit card payments. Please contact us for further details.
